Cornell Directory (LDAP) Attribute Names and Aliases

An attribute can be referred to by either its LDAP reference or by one (or more) less cumbersome aliases (an example would be "cornellEduDeptName1" versus the more readable and intuitive alias "Department"). If you would like to suggest an alias for any attribute beginning with "cornellEdu", please email aadssupport@cornell.edu and we will consider the request. (Sorry, but we are unable to provide aliases for attributes other than the ones that begin with "cornellEdu".)
